What A Waste! – Documentary

Bread for the World is an advocacy organisation based in Washington D.C., United States that advocates for policy changes to end world hunger. We were commissioned by Bread for the World to film and direct a documentary that seeks to bring awareness to the plight of the poor in Malaysia who are facing unemployment and hunger in the middle of the 2020 pandemic. Highlighted in this documentary is a Malaysian social enterprise that helps channel food waste to the needy communities, which at the height of the COVID-19 lockdown, gave out over 1,700 food packs to poor families with no means of putting food on the table.
